I am founder of the 100% fruit jam company, Superjam. The process from having started the company at the age of fourteen to being an iconic Scottish brand on sale in over a thousand stores around the world has thought me 10 important marketing lessons.

When I was a little fourteen year old boy, my Grandmother taught me how to make jam using the recipes she had perfected over her lifetime. She grew up on a farm in Ireland and I had always loved her jam. One afternoon, she shared her recipes with me and I had no idea that this love of my Grandmother’s jam would go on to change my life.

I soon started making my own jars, selling them door-to-do
